Teachers

“Camp ABK was an enriching experience that brought many of my students out of their shells for a day of teamwork and fun in the great outdoors.  The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the pace set by the schedule perfect for our entire group of 8-13 year olds.  We were impressed how the staff modified the program to meet our individual class needs – what a great place for a trip!”  Mary Brohart, S. Geiger Public School, Massey, ON

“I have been taking my grade 8s to Camp ABK for their graduation trip for years.  It’s always a great time and they come away with priceless memories that they still talk about years later.  The activities are well-planned and lots of fun, the cabins are spacious, the location is beautiful, the food is fantastic, and the staff is amazing.  We will continue to choose Camp ABK for our grad trip because it’s the best!”  Claudia Greco, Holy Cross Catholic Elementary School, Sault Ste. Marie, ON

“Camp A.B.K. exceeded our expectations in every way.  The facilities were first rate and all of the A.B.K. staff were courteous and knowledgeable.  They did an excellent job of organizing and supervising high interest activities throughout the day and well into the night.  Even the food was skillfully prepared and plentiful.  As a year-end activity you would be hard pressed to find a better value for such an educationally rich experience!  We’ll definitely be back.”
Bernard Eng, Grade 7/8 Teacher, Webbwood Public School, Webbwood, ON

“The beauty of your program is you guys do all the work, and I get all the credit” – Grade 8 teacher, Sault Ste. Marie

“As a school teacher, I sing praises of this place to any teacher who is pondering where they should go for their year-end trip.  Last year, the Grade Eights had to replan their trip to Toronto because of SARS.  The first place they mentioned they would love to go to was ABK.  That speaks volumes. The new Grade Seven’s are looking forward to their adventures and we as teachers know what a wonderful experience they will have.”
Debbie LeBlanc, Gr. 7/8 Teacher, Sacred Heart School, Espanola, ON
